I've really enjoyed my experience so far with Yoga Central. I was used to taking classes at a boutique studio when I was in Singapore, so I was excited to be able to find a similar studio after moving back to Hong Kong. Although small individual studios may not be able to offer as full a schedule of classes as those big yoga chains, I much prefer a studio like YC because classes are smaller, the teachers are more attentive, and you never get pressured to sign up for membership or to buy packages.
I also like the fact that all the teachers at YC stress the importance of getting the pose correct and go through various stages before finally getting into the full pose.  Too often in other yoga studios, you are asked to do a pose but have no idea if you're actually doing it correctly or not and the classes are so big that teachers can't really focus on each individual student to correct the things they are doing wrong.  At YC, I can take comfort in the fact that the teacher is watching out for me and that I'm not potentially doing something wrong which can end up straining or injuring me.
